In just over a week after launch we’ve got nearly 150 members – probably the largest community of NASCAR fans in the UK.

Stock Car Daily allows users to get their opinions and memories of NASCAR out there, with little or no prior knowledge of bloggin or publishing required, and places them and their content among an active group of like minded fans who can comment on their content and join in the conversation.

This big revamp of the former NASCAR Open Access site is a massive leap forward for the UK NASCAR fan base, and will hopefully prove to be as popular as it’s predecessor.

The site offers really slick event management, user interaction in the form of comments and forums, and integration with Social Media outlets.
This project required rebuilding the existing website from the ground up, including a large image gallery spanning many years.

The brief was to make updates to the site easier to implement for administrators, and to maintain a steady theme throughout. Now nominated users can create events, newsletters and forum posts remotely, with no software or coding knowledge required.
